The Pinnacle Atlanta Innovation Accelerator invests up to $100K in high-growth startups.

About the Program

Pinnacle Atlanta Innovation Accelerator, powered by gener8tor and sponsored by Pinnacle Financial Partners, invests in up to five companies per year focused on fintech or related industry. Each startup selected for the 12-week program receives a $100,000 investment and a high-touch, concierge accelerator experience.

Startups benefit from the support of gener8tor and Pinnacle’s extensive network of mentors, technologists, financial industry leaders, angel investors, and venture capitalists. Based in Atlanta, the program operates out of the PEER Center—a Pinnacle Bank office, that serves as a banking and resource center as well as a hub for collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

To be eligible, startups must be majority owned by underserved* founders as defined by the SBA, have a significant business nexus to DeKalb, Cobb, Fulton, or Gwinnett Counties, and operate within the fintech or related industries. Startups involved in gambling, cannabis, or other vice-related sectors are not eligible to apply.

*As defined by the SBA, 'underserved' includes individuals who identify as women, minorities, veterans, individuals with disabilities, or those from low-income communities.

Mentorship, Coaching & One-on-One Meetings

Twelve weeks of individualized coaching and mentorship from the gener8tor team during bi-weekly, one-on-one meetings. One-on-one meetings with 100+ connections including serial entrepreneurs, industry experts and investors.

$1M + in deals and perks from vendors like IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Amazon, PayPal, Zendesk, Hubspot and Microsoft.

Showcase

Exclusive reception during which participating companies have the opportunity to pitch to an audience of entrepreneurs, mentors, investors and community members.

 

What We’re Looking For

Atlanta Focused

We want to bring a big impact to our home base area, Atlanta. Therefore, we're looking for companies that have one of the following:

  • At least one founder based in Atlanta with a significant business nexus to Dekalb, Cobb, Fulton or Gwinnett Counties.

  • The startup is in the Fintech or related industry.

Scalable Business Model

We focus on startups that have the opportunity for significant and scalable economic impact. If you are generating revenue or have a clear path toward greater adoption, we urge you to apply.

Can We Help?

Based on our expertise in sales, marketing, go-to-market, strategy and fundraising, we select startups that are primed for growth. If you are at a point where our network, resources and expertise can scale your impact, we urge you to apply.

  • Startups must be based in Atlanta, or permanently relocate to Atlanta, in order to take full advantage of the cohort-based programming and the strength of the local ecosystem.

  • Startups must participate in-person in Atlanta, GA.
